Neue Pinakothek

Another beautiful museum in Munich, devoted to the paintibgs from the latest three centuries. Van Gogh and Klimt. Some little gems. And some huge ones.

Surprised me in a good way. Came for the few impressionists, you can find some of Degas, Cézanne, Monet and 3 by van Gogh. Found stunning 19th century landscape paintings from all over Europe.

Start from the end: room 21, room 20 etc. The first 10 rooms dedicate to not well-known Bavarian artists. A lot of French/Belgium/Holland artists, but not the great masterpieces.

I would not recommend this place! The security guy at the entrance behaved really impolitely/rude to everybody!That was unbelievable we have never experienced such disgraceful behavior! It is a shame!

It is the worst place ever! The security guy was a GESTAPO and bullied us and everybody around at the entrance! we ended up leaving. I would really not recommend this place!We are really disappointed!

Opened in 2002, the museum, designed by Stefan Braunfels, holds the one of the world´s largest art collections which includes art, design, graphics and architecture of the 20th and 21 Century.

Spacious environment to view the stunning collection of paintings (Van Gogh, Friedrich, Delacroix and more) and sculptures. You can look really closely and take pictures.

Impressionists are at the end so you may want to start from the last few rooms to get your Van Goghs and Signacs in.

Экспозиция просто фантастическая!😍 Не берите с собой сумки больше клатча - прийдется оставлять в гардеробе)) Вместо гардероба, оставляйте вещи в шкафчиках - это бесплатно и не нужно стоять в очереди.

Вход 7€. Экспозиция не большая, но очень приятная. Людей нет. Как всегда в европейских музеях чудесный музейный магазин.

I was lucky to see Van Gogh and Monet before Die Neue Pinakothek gets closed for 6 years for renovation. Amazing experience, helpful staff.

Monet und Van Gogh haben mich ehrlich gesagt weniger gereizt. Stattdessen gibt es hier aber schöne Landschaftsgemälde. Kürzer und auch etwas weniger stark wie die Alte Pinak. aber dennoch sehenswert.

One of the largest art collections in the world. This museum has paintings of most of the artists you've heard about in your art lessons.

Honestly I could not enjoy this place because I was disturbed by the angry security worker right at the entrance.As long as he works there it is a NO GO. I have nevee experienced such arogant behavior

Pissarro, Sisley and even the Sunflowers of Van Gogh! What else could u ask for?

O museu surpreende pelo acervo e organização da coleção. Boa iluminação permite ver muito bem as obras.

Sunday admission 1 €! If you are interested in main masterpieces, take the tour in reversed direction, you´ll be fresh for the leading artworks.

Superb collection of 19th and 20th century art.

Очень много немцев. В буклете написано, что есть одна картина Мунка, но Ее не было. Немного Ван Гога, немного других импрессионистов.

Cultural "must see" at Munich. A really good Museum with a nice Cafeteria.

There isn't much reason to play for the coat check - you can use the lockers for free.

Unfortunatelly I cannot write anything positive because the securuty man at the entrance behaved unapologetically so we rather left.Me and my family will not return back until that man will be fired.

Apart from all other masterpieces, JMW Turner's 'Ostende' - a rare sight outside of UK

For €1 it's an amazing price to go see Monet, to Turner and Klimt

Не забывайте заглядывать за углы, там может прятаться шедевр Климта, к примеру
