One of the biggest rooftop bars with one the very best views of Midtown. Decor could be updated - it has the right amount of cheesiness (IMHO!). Think old-town Vegas meets NYC circa 1980.

Scenic views of the Empire State Building. You can even go up there in the winter. There are heat lamps and red robes

Very cool lounge with a chill atmosphere and amazing rooftop view of the city and Empire State Building- they even provide robes for the roof and heating lamps! Great date night spot.

Huge outdoor seating area, with a self-service bar. The Empire State building and other building around are nicely lit at night. Great for groups. Decently priced drinks.

Wear a cool hat and enjoy this awesome rooftop bar. Best view of the Empire in the city. Can't wait to try it in the winter. I need to see New Yorkers wearing Snuggies for myself.

Great view of the Empire State Building on the rooftop! Brunch buffet is worth the reasonable price of $30.

Great views. Make sure you dress warm if it's brisk outside. They have blankets to get under, but still it's quite chilly. That said, get there just before sunset and watch the city change.

Nice view of the Empire State Building and cool place to chill after a long day. The cocktail list has nothing special.. I tried the white sangria which was ok!

Great view on the Empire State Building. I went there in the Winter and they had plaids and bathrobe for visitors to keep warm! Great apple ciders too !

Located so close to Flatiron, perfect for grabbing a cocktail after work and meeting many locals as well as foreigners. One of the top views of Midtown. Grab their red cloth of feeling chilly outside

Wonderful skyline views with some downstairs large window seating for the nastier weather. You have your choice of dinning or seat yourself bar only.

A bar with an amazing view. Crowded. Expensive. Lively. One thing I couldn't get is why so many steps of "security-dress-code-face-control" check? 🙄 Like I'm entering Pentagon base, not a roof bar

I liked this rooftop bar! Yes, the drinks are expensive and the service isn't that great. But the view was amazing and on cold days they have heaters and fleece snuggies.

230 boasts one of the city's most 'lavish' and amazing vistas. Don't just take our word for it! Malaysian Shrimp Salad is to die for!! It's grilled pork, scallion, green mango and papaya. It's delish!

Be sure to get at least 2 hours before sunset, otherwise you won’t have a good table. Also, the level below the rooftop was almost empty, that’s another option to have great views of the Empire State

Great view, friendly staff and yummy drinks. Our server Angelica was adorable and so nice! We had a great time and will definitely be back on our next visit.

Amazing view. Free to get in. Drinks were pricey, but you're paying for the view. Bartenders use the jigger / pony devoutly, so don't hope for a heavy-handed pour

Amazing Rooftop bar with fantastic views of the NYC skyline. Upscale decor, lots of patio bars and beautiful people. One con: Beer selection is limited to Amstel, Heineken, Stella and one other beer.

This place is awesome until 9pm sharp, when the vibe turns from "oh yeah sit wherever and enjoy snuggies under the heatlamps" to "fuck you, give us $500 or freeze."

Go here for brunch and enjoy the cool, open air and scenic Manhattan skyline from the rooftop. Come back at night for the lively crowd. The drinks are expensive but the atmosphere can be electric.

Aside from the killer view, the best part about this place was the traffic jam that occurs when everyone stops at the rooftop entrance to take their official Instagram of the skyline.

This indoor penthouse/partially heated outdoor roof deck that, come winter, gets adorned with artificial igloos that fit up to 8 people. Igloos can’t be reserved, so you may have to wait - Thrilist

The guys are a bit too touchy touchy feely BUT the music was amazing. The drinks were normal but triple the price. The rooftop was the highlight of course and that’s free

No cover, spectacular view on rooftop, heated lamps kept us warm enough sans jackets (in late October), music is decent downstairs. A few good looking men. Friendly atmosphere. LOVED this place!
