They have a pretty decent selection of vegan options which is very much appreciated. My personal favorite dessert is the vegan brownie.
The later you go, the less crowded it will be. Expect a lot of high schoolers, especially on open mic night.
Try the macaroni & cheese, and ask for a little bit of buffalo sauce in it. You'll be licking the plate, it's so good!
Hole in the wall, but I loved the atmosphere. The bartender was sweet and everyone was having a great time. Excellent selection on tap.
Not only do they offer both almond and soy milk for coffee, BUT they have homemade tofu based "cream cheese" which is amazing and something to keep in mind if you're vegan! Awesome place!!!
Make sure you try the Boston Cream Pie. I didn't even know a vegan Boston Cream Pie existed, but it does and it is heavenly.
They have a LOT of dairy-free options which is wonderful. I had the coffee lace and it was heavenly.
The tofu green salad is spicy and delicious and a must try! The tofu is perfectly seared and almost melts in your mouth! Can't wait to come back!

I have so many wonderful memories of this park from when I was a little girl. A really great place to spend a day no matter the time of year or weather.
The sweetest staff. They always go out of their way to make sure you're having a good time. Such a great place. One of my favorites in the area!
Tried the buffalo seitan panini the other night, and it was incredible. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Had the black bean El Matador burger (love how there was a vegan cheese option!) and out of this world fries. Dessert was the insanely delicious vegan carrot cake which I'll be dreaming about forever.
I've been to the one in Astoria and loved it so I'm super pumped to have one here on Long Island. Parking sucks, but that's to be expected in RVC.
Spicy tofu pad thai is a MUST. The lunch prices are excellent and our waitress was such a sweetheart. Found my new favorite Thai spot!
Super crowded (parking in the area is the WORST) and the bars were all iffy. Must have been an off night. Loved this place as a kid, as an adult I think I'll pass.
Really cool atmosphere, super friendly bartenders, and the live music kicks ass. Definitely coming back here.
Try the grilled mahi sandwich. It's super messy, but delicious! Make sure you get it with sweet chili sauce.
The food was great, but the hostess was really rude. She claimed that we underpaid, and when we called her out on it, instead of apologizing, she just giggled and walked away. Won't be coming back.
I've only ordered take-out from here, but they're always quick and my sushi always tastes fresh. I love this place!
As an employee who eats at the café there a lot, I suggest you check it out. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the grilled salmon with salsa and veggies!
It should also be mentioned that the prices are definitely reasonable. The miso soup was great, as well. There were TONS of bits of tofu in it!
Excellent service, and the food was delicious! I had a spicy tuna roll which tasted very fresh and two pieces of Tako (octopus) sushi which was yummy and chewy! I'd definitely come back again!
