Christiane Lemos: It goes "nowhere". But you must go! From Bairro Alto to São Paulo St., it is a nice ride throught the narrow Bica St. Then, you come back up again. With a 24 h ticket or Lisbon Card, you can do that.

Meghan and Prem: Relatively new, a narrow but huge space, with a small patio jutting out on to the steep Rua das Flores, I quite enjoyed sipping my morning coffee here.

Meghan and Prem: A Australian-Portuguese partnership, The Mill was founded by Paul and Madeline. They roast their own beans at Lisbon's Flor da Selva, a 500 meter walk from their café.

Ana Almeida: Great view of the river... it has a restaurant, but it's nice to go at night and stay in the terrace with a good wine. You can always ask for a grilled chorizo!

Buford Barnes: Restaurant that brings the bounty of the Alentejo region to Lisbon, with a view overlooking a beautiful Moorish interior courtyard. Their soups, rice dishes, and fish are best.
Christian W.: One of the cutest pubs I've ever been. Make sure to go there on Mondays and Wednesdays to listen to some original portuguese music (fado) for free. cheap beer and good food! try the codfish and ham!

Jonathan Gayman: I cannot believe I'm the 1st rating this fantastic find. Tuna with sweet potatoes, pork cheek, sea bass, rotas ovas...all simply amazing. I expect this place to be blowing up next time I'm in Lisbon.

Arnold: This old factory is transformed to a nice small village with nice shops, bars, foods & drinks! Weekend is the best time to go & don't forget to checkout the rooftop on the 4th to have a great view! :)
