Huge airport. Make sure to leave plenty of time if you need to change terminals between flights. Took almost an hour while I was there - lots of walking.

One of the stupidest airports in Europe. More like a shopping mall with an runway attachment. You have to go through scanner security AT the gate...

O aeroporto é enorme. Se for fazer conexões escolha uma com um intervalo com mais de duas horas, caso contrário corre o risco de perder o voo ou ter que correr

Waiting for passport control at arrivals for 40 minutes now, 3 officers for all non eu citizens instead of 7, plus 2 for eu. There is no WC here and hardly possible go back upstairs considering crowd

If you have to get a boarding pass for joint KLM/Aeroflot flight: don't go to T5 (Aeroflot), they're useless. Can't even look a flight up by number! T4 are much better (KLM). Self check-in also works

Автоматизированный чек-ин и baggage drop-off. Много дьюти-фри магазинов, шмон прямо при входе в зону ожидания возле гейта. Очень здоровски

Has some nice stores that help you kill time and the passport police is acting friendly. However It's not so good to see everything getting closed before the day is over. Also some gates are too small

If the weather is nice, go spend some time outside on the Airport Park Terrace at the entrance to gates D 59-87 on the second floor. Open from 07:00 to 20:00.

Как и раньше курить в зоне вылета можно около Holland Casino (напротив Dutch bar). И это полноценная курилка, а не как раньше - в самом казино кабинка на 3 чел).

If you're just passing through, have lunch/dinner before you go through passport control. The food is much better than it is in the international terminal!
