If a you ever make it out to Monterey, stop by English Ales in Marina CA, the best Pub Grub I have ever eaten. Amazing Beer selection and the Pub is always full of locals. Try the Fish n Chips.
You can pass on this place if time is an issue, really nothing amazing unless you hear of some bottle release. Lots of Peter's bottles at the Sand City Costco!
Ask for the pickle beer, you won't be disappointed. Hands down their best brew. Note: HWY1 was sold recently, and I heard the new owner didn't buy a lot of the recipes in the deal. Try it though...
WORTH THE DETOUR! Don't miss this place, their beers are great. No food unless a truck is parked outdoors, so go prepared.
