Make sure to have your phone charged, they don't have charging stations in each chair like in other airports.

Security Gate C is the fastest and it connects to Terminals A and B as well.

You need to dress for traveling and going thru security. Take all your items out of your pockets and put them a tray before going thru the scanners.

Definitely consider this airport if you're flying into the DC area. There is only one Priority Pass lounge, which had been closed for a year and reopened under a new name.

Be sure to make it here at least 45 min before your flight. We were 15 before the flight and luckily made it.

If you packed a garment bag, the steward(ess) might have space to hang/stow your bag in the closet when you board...

If u park at the long term lot, it is very convenient and only 8 per day? The shuttle comes every 10_15mins during rush hour

Convenient airport but the car rental takes a longtime since it is about ten minute bus ride from airport.

Curbside check in isn't always the fastest - check at the ticket counter first. Security is usually pretty slow, so arrive early!

TSA gets the lines through in a hurry, but if you're in a rush they have checkpoints on the lower level!

There is typically only one JetBlue gate per day, so it can get backed up quickly if there are issues earlier in the day.

If you are departing from A gates, you can save time in line by going through security in B&C area. Walk through B&C to get to A.

Regretting choosing Subway for a quick dinner...staff at the Subway across from Gate B6 started out nice but turned rude in the 5 minutes I was waiting for my sandwich.

In terminal 1 use the security under the stairs (to the left as you face the ticket counter) - its faster.

For southwest or AirTran flights go through security downstairs. Little known, small lines, moves fast.

One of the easier airports to navigate once the shuttle drops you off. TSA lines are manageable.

Word to the wise....if u have a gate departing from C or D u must enter "Security" through ur gate C or D, if u have a A or B u can enter in either one. C&D r not connected to any other gate.

No precheck at terminal A. Precheck at B is usually super crowded. Rental car center is super far away and it takes forever to show up. Overall this is a pretty crappy airport.

This airport sucks when it comes to outlets! The best airpprt at accommodating someone traveling with a phone or computer (everyone) is Chicago!

Did they put the rental cat lot in DC on purpose? Leave lots of time if you need to pick up or drop off. The bus ride is 8 mins, and finding the place adds another 10.

Just opened Chipotle in A/B Concourse Food Court inside security. Be sure to allow extra time because of the Line.

Cleanest airport bathrooms I've ever seen. Fresh flowers in there too! Easy trip from DC in the Marc train and much cheaper fares than Reagan.

Watch the african american TSA guy with the highlighter. He gets mad when you don't go through the line properly when the line is short.

Granted it was a Tuesday early morning flight, but security was SUPER FAST at Terminal D. Much faster than Reagan Airport on a Tuesday AM.

If you've gotta drop off a rental, don't mess around. That 8 minute bus ride from the rental location to the terminal will be the most stressful of your life.

American Airlines cree don’t know how to read residency cards, she insisted it was expired and it wasn’t. Make sure you can translate Spanish to them. You cannot pay for baggage without having a CC

Your best bet from the airport is a cab for about $20 or hop on the Light Rail to Penn Station. Light rail trains leave every 30 minutes on Saturdays

This airport is only 1.5 hours from our headquarters in Harrisburg, PA and is great alternative when you can't find a suitable flight at HIA or are traveling to other Central PA locations.

BEWARE: there are mice scurrying around the corridors by gate D36 and D37. By far the grossest thing I've ever seen at an airport. Get your act together BWI!

Don't be dismayed by the size of the security line to D Terminal; it may look a mile long, but it goes surprisingly fast! Only took me 20 minutes.

There's a new security checkpoint downstairs in A gate. Usually not many people down there (since many people don't know about it).

Park in long term. Cheaper and the shuttles run a lot more frequently. 3 long term busses for every one daily.
