Dutch colonial classic pink monstrosity. Afternoon tea is absolutely incredible and a must in Cape Town. Gorgeous savories, sweets, and beverages. Explore the grounds and peek into the spa afterward.

Not staying here but keen to use the pool? Book a service at the Librisa Spa and they'll let you use the pool the day of your service. (~R900 minimum spend/mention the pool at booking)

Tea today was good as per usual - vanilla ceylon tea and crumpets with clotted cream! Loved the chocolate ganache cake, cheese cake, macaroons, hertzoggies, macadamia nut tart and more!

The mini bar set up has excellent design. The Waterford Sauvignon Blanc comes recommended. The estate itself had a chocolate ad wine tasting and flagship wine named 'the Jem' that come recommended.

It's a great hotel, but aimed at the older wealthy tourists. Very nice Dekor, quiet and great service, God for business meetings.

Just exquisite! Pop in for coffee and cake in the lounge or their legendary afternoon tea. Sit on the veranda and enjoy lunch in the sun.

A must visit for every Cape Town visitor. Have the beautiful tea or visit the Planet Bar, or if it's sunny laze I. The garden!

Apart from great morning teas and one of the most extensive afternoon teas it's a perfect quiet place for business meetings.

Planet bar very over priced, the planet restaurant is incredible recommend it to everyone worth every cent and best high tea I've ever been to!!!

Great Old lady,a little eccentric, and has spotty maintenance and condition. It feels a little faded and perhaps not worth the money.

They do offer a vegan menu at high tea but it's a very very small offering. Rather eat off the regular menu

When staying at the hotel - use the adults only pool directly opposite the hotel's entrance. Private and serene spot.

Arrive to high tea very hungry! Fantastic spread of finger foods and pastries. Strawberry vanilla rooibos is great. Come early before it gets crowded with children and poorly dressed teenagers.
