Amazing Brazilian vibes. Only downside is the size; it's very crowded with hardly any room to dance. Also note that the watermelon drink everyone recommends is basically vodka w/ a splash of fruit.

Small, buzzy bar playing Latin music. Recommended to us by several locals for dancing but make sure you arrive ready for it as a bit too loud for pre-drinks.

Very dimly lit, great for dancing, always popping if you show up at the right time and in the right mood. May have a $10 cover charge some nights.

Rum and salsa. Very small but cozy place. Dance the night away. Friendly doorman who borrowed me his coat when I had to use the ATM outside. Went there on a Thursday.

Came with a friend looking for salsa & Afrobeat dancing. What I got was a bunch of square-jawed guys dancing awkwardly with a slew of drunken girls. The live percussion & drinks were on point though.

Loved the music especially the drummer but the space is super cramped and im not a fan of hipsters pretending to bacchata. . I prefer a more authentic experience
