Indoor parking and multi-packs of everything, including toilets. Samples are most plentiful midday, but the store can get nutty and difficult to navigate.
Decent prices on shoes and running gear if you time it right. Some days it's nutty and beat to avoid.
Wood-fired pizza is great (and makes fantastic leftovers if you can stop yourself). Cocktails or good, and carafes of house wine are a good deal.
Hike up Horseshoe Bluff for spectacular views (and sheer drop offs). It's not exactly clear if it's an official trail, but enough have made the climb it doesn't matter.
Broasted chicken is brined before it's fried so it remains juicy and well salted. Only four taps, but a good selection of cans and bottles.
A great selection of burgers from local beef (or homemade bean patties or chicken). Iowa-made beer on tap only.
Huge onion rings (a single one is about half an onion). Big Pig sandwich is delicious. Boulevard beers on tap, of course. Expect to wait.
Pool is busy in the summer and the line starts early. It's cool to come a little late.
