Thursday night open late, Strozzina (contemporary section) free from 6-11pm! Great place not just for exhibits but to hang in the courtyard (free wifi), cafe' or bookstore.

The brilliant place! Everything is great-atmosphere, food, vine, staff and price! Tiramisu is very tasty, ravioli with truffle souse are unforgettable! The ideal place to have dinner!
Excellent food in a very pleasant area. Less crowed than a block away. Pear and cheese pasta are delicious.
Nerbone's beef sandwich are unbelievable! The other dishes are good as well but the panino con bollito is a must!
Pastries and coffees here are very expensive considering italian standards... Yet, everything is perfectly delicious. Worth a try, definitely! They have free wi-fi as well.
Mind blowingly good. By far the best in Florence for traditional / chocolatey flavors (check out Gellateria della Passera for fruity / seasonal flavors). And .50 euro cheaper than most places to boot!
There are two sites to see - palace and garden, but need to arrive before 5:30pm to see the garden. Palace open till 7pm
