Bottle Apostle is without a doubt, my favourite wine shop in the East. The selection of both, wines and beers is great and they also have great spirits too! The staff is lovely and always helpful.

Great selection of wine (some of which you can try at a fee per sample) at lower prices than any restaurant for a far superior quality.

Go ahead and ask. Seriously. The people in this shop know their wines and will steer you to the right bottle for the meal (or occasion) without ripping you off.
