1. Kamalani Playground
Brian Duncan: Sprawling wooden playground with associated restrooms (smelly) and covered picnic area. A must for the kiddos.

Brian Duncan: Small but one of the nicest libraries in the Hawaii system. Super nice staff.

Brian Duncan: Watch the video and take the tour. Wear sunscreen it can be hot.

6. Kapaa Beach Park
Brian Duncan: A good place to rest and gather sea glass after the bike ride. Not much sand but a great swing.
7. Pineapple Dump Pier
Brian Duncan: See how we used to treat the ocean as a dump.
8. Kapaa Boardwalk
Brian Duncan: Rent a cheap bike. Ride the whole length. The best.
9. Beach Bike Rentals
Brian Duncan: Lovely, generous and CHEAP. Why go anywhere else? One block off of the path will save you half. Plus great customer service.
10. Wailua Falls
Brian Duncan: Would be great if you could reach the bottom. Buy the baked goods they sell illegally in the parking lot. They rock!
11. Brennecke's Beach
Brian Duncan: We agree sunsets are the best. Get there early.
12. Grand Hyatt Kauai Salt Water Lagoon
Brian Duncan: Pretty. Coarse sand. Bar nearby
13. Chalupas
Brian Duncan: The fish tacos were okay. The fish was undercooked, and not much toppings. However the torta sandwich rocked. The veggie torta is a must.
14. Waimea Canyon Lookout
Brian Duncan: Beautiful, beautiful. Come early before it's covered with tourists.
15. Barefoot Cafe
Brian Duncan: What a pit. So slow. But really, really good food. No really. Everything was great. After waiting forever, we still would come back.
16. Wai‘ānapanapa State Park
Brian Duncan: Eclectic. Nice. Well worth the effort. Save time to take a hike.
17. Hyatt Regency Maui Resort And Spa
Brian Duncan: No complaints. Fine staff. Well priced drinks. Good food that wasn't too pricey.
18. Lihue Airport (LIH)
Brian Duncan: Quiet airport without lines. You can cut it quite close.
19. Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa
Brian Duncan: Nice pools. Good wifi. Friendly staff. If the food and drinks were cheaper we would be in love.
20. Shivalik Indian Cuisine
Brian Duncan: It's alright. Everything veggie we had was good. Chickpea saag spicy was the best.
21. Waimea Canyon & Koke'e State Park
Brian Duncan: Wow. Everything I could have hoped and more. Well marked, plenty of pull offs. A must!
22. Red Dirt Falls
Brian Duncan: Omg. Hard to believe this is real. Did I just say omg? Well it is worth it.
23. Puu Hinahina Lookout
Brian Duncan: Quite lovely. One of the best things in all if Hawaii.
24. Craving Thai
Brian Duncan: Red curry is ridiculous. Green papaya salad and thai fried rice were only ok.
25. Koloa Mill Ice Cream and Coffee
Brian Duncan: Mac nut brownie. Ask them to warm it and put ice cream on it. Your life will be better for it.
26. Seven Sacred Pools
Brian Duncan: Better view of ocean than the pools.
27. Pipiwai Trail
Brian Duncan: Bring water and snack. The deal to the falls and back is 5 miles. Allow 2 hours.
28. Hilo International Airport (ITO)
Brian Duncan: Quiet. Clean. Open. I wish all Hawaiian airports were like this.
29. Ocean Pool Bar & Grill
30. Lahaina Harbor
Brian Duncan: Grimy coastal tourist trap, but still great.
