Reopened under new owners in July 2014! Great new chef kept popular staples and adds specials and seasonal dishes regularly. Great brunch spot with plenty of tables and room for families.

This is THE neighborhood spot. Paula the bartender is the BEST & the staff + owner are so nice & always check in to ask how things are. Great food, happy hours specials (including apps) & legit wings

hot honey bbq wings are more hot than honey, but still well balanced. comes with hot sauce on the side if you prefer more traditional buffalo style.

For late night munchies (their kitchen closes really late), I usually go for the BPH Burger for a sweet and savory combo. They have decent selection of craft brew that changes with the seasons.

Get the Public House Burger. When you do, take both (large) onion rings off the burger and eat them with your fries.

Ask for a taste of unfamiliar beers - if the bar is super-busy, keep cocktail orders simple - want a good clean beer - have a Radeberger - nice whiskey - Bulleit Bourbon or Rye

Fun neighbourhood spot. Always a good vibe. Great decorations for Halloween and holidays. Open late for food. Good selection of beers. Nice crowd.

The house burger is fantastic. How could it not be with bacon relish? Also the bangers and mash is super authentic and delicious.

The P.E.I. Mussels are amazing. Ask for extra bread, because you're going to want to soak up every last drop of the white wine and butter at the bottom of the bowl.

Great late night dining in sleepy Fort Greene. The catfish sandwich was great and the unique "tartar sauce" was so hipster!

It's been mentioned a couple times already, but I must reiterate: Blackened Alabama Catfish... WOW. And even the spinach and mashed it comes with are freaken great.

Usually the term "Public House" scares me that it will be a bar that I will not like. However, the "Brooklyn" part of the name stands out more here that helps BPH be a fun time.

Get the House Burger medium rare. The mayo and bacon jam remind me of a grown up version of the Swenson's Galley Boy in Akron

This joint is swell, and it's easily the best darn burger in a many-blocked radius. Solid draft list with good daily specials. Good bar.
