Two words… "meat candy." If you don't know now, you should visit and do some research. Tiny spot, expanding next door. For now expect a wait that's well worth it.

KinoAoût 26, 2014Butcher Bar makes me want to move to Astoria. Truth. It's expanding next door soon. The Meat Candy Burnt Ends, Brisket & Applewood Smoked Bacon are delicious. The Apple Pie is good. They serve Shiner.- The chili cheese nachos are excellent. If you order it, make sure you have several mouths to help. We ordered it with the pico, sour cream and jalapeños on the side to adjust for personal tastes.

No longer BYOB but they do have an excellent drink selection. Get the burnt ends! Be warned- they do run out.

It blows the burnt ends out of the water. While you're here be sure to try one of their organic sodas and stick around for the free apple pie. Awesome.

You could taste that everything was made with fresh ingredients. They even gave us complimentary desserts - apple cake! So yummy

Get there early, the brisket is great, but if you come too late they'll be out of burnt ends! Staff is really great too.
