Best Chinese food and it's not even close. If you're around for lunch, the lunch specials give you plenty and for amazing prices.

Tea Smoked Duck – Unlike Peking duck, this aromatically smoked duck retains a fatty layer of caramel skin with deep flavor so complex that you may even forego the accompanying sauce En savoir plus

Shrimp dumplings are great. Pork dumplings with chili oil are amazing. And the King Pao Chicken is a good choice as well.

Get the stir fried assorted fresh mushroom (and ask for it to be made spicy) irrespective of whether you're a vegetarian or not. 😋

Wonder how this place got a Michelin Star. Lunch menu is all precooked and dry. Lunch menu is tailored for a quick turnaround in business district.

Recommended - Braised Fish with Tofu Lunch Special. Fresh and meaty chunks of fish with tofu in a mildly spicy sauce.

Food is good here but not spectacular. Favorites were the spicy wontons and the mapo tofu. Tea smoked duck, pork belly, and jellyfish were overrated.

Everything is great - as the other reviews said - but nobody mentioned the excellent eight jewel rice pudding for dessert!

I was skeptical, given the location, the cocktails, and the Szechuan aspirations, but it's real. It's all real.

Excellent! Get the wontons with chili sauce and the lamb cumin - both amazing! Not crazy about the duck or the tofu.

Such a cute place. Three pepper chicken is a must. It’s not that spicy. The drinks are really really nice.

Best Chinese food in the city. Sautéed chicken filet, mapo tofu, and steamed soup buns are my faves but everything is delicious.

Try the “mouth watering chicken." Bone-in chicken is poached & chilled, arriving in a bowl slicked with neon-colored chili-and-sesame oil. It somehow manages to be refreshing & incendiary all at once. En savoir plus

Tea-smoked duck was perfectly cooked. Among the best I've ever eaten. The sauce puts it over the top.

Famous for its Chinese name "倾城" and it tastes just like you are in China! Another restaurant "倾国" is another style. I shall recommend "倾城" more.

The ma po tofu is way too salty. Cumin lamb is nice and tender. The menu should probably mention that the spicy wontons are also sweet.

Three pepper chicken has more sichuan peppercorns than Chunking chicken. We still had them bring extra peppercorn powder. It was quite good.

Lunch specials are key here. One of the few classy yet easy sit-down places (with waiter service) to get a inexpensive lunch in midtown.
