- This place is excellent w zero frills. Small place, tasty and very well priced - perfect for a freezing afternoon lunch. Pork and Kimchee hot Soba 🍜 Dip was excellent!
- Village VoiceAoût 15, 2014The hot soba in a pork and kimchi broth stands out, as does the more classic, cold Zaru. Yes, you’ll have room for dessert after a light dinner—we suggest the fresh tofu or sublime green-tea affogato. En savoir plus
- Johnny WonNovembre 9, 2014One of the best Soba focused Japanese places in the city. Excellent vegetarian options but always go for something with the pork. The homemade tofu is very creamy, a matter of preference.
- The miso colelsaw is a must. As far as soba goes, mera mera (dip or warm) is #1, followed by tom yum dip. Try to save room for dessert, because the green tea affogato sundae is so good.
- Daniel GarciaMai 9, 2015For the low price, wonderful service and cooks, AMAZING udon, and cute menus... I would be a regular and fat if I lived anywhere near this place. I try not to do repeats but I'm ABSOLUTELY coming back
- Mike WinstonFévrier 25, 2014For some seriously soothing soba noodles, head to Cocoron. I love the dipping noodles, though they take some work to eat. Don't miss the Stamina Soba and read about my visit on WinstonWanders below! En savoir plus

- Minji SungJuin 8, 2015Stamina warm soba I tried was a bomb. I tend to not like the food that has citrus in it, but this it didn't bother me finishing the dish. It is the best soba I had in manhattan.
- Elvis RodricksJuillet 22, 2018Similar to a bim bim bap but with noodles instead of rice. Mera mera has a nice south asian spice taste (small portion of ground meat in tho) & noodles were fresh. Good options 4 vegetarians as wel.
- All the warm soba soups are delicious, especially if you add a poached egg. The mera mera special and the pork kimchi are standouts.
- Delicious authentic Japanese soba. Get the "nato" if you're feeling adventurous enough for Japanese fermented (gooey smelly) beans. Finish off with my favorite dessert, green tea adffogato
- Neelu RaviNovembre 19, 2018Real soba I have had in years. Something similar to what I remember having in Japan. Real good vegetarian options as well. Staff is very friendly. Please note it’s cash only!

- Lori LuoSeptembre 7, 2014On warmer days, try the Bang Bang Ji - Cold Chicken Soba. It comes with a sweet and spicy sesame sauce that ties in the chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers, and soba together.

- Johnnie SkywalkingJuin 19, 2016Ramen is good but this is the place when you need much healthier and hearty Japanese noodle. Bonita flake bases soup is so rich and gentle to your stomach. Oroshi makes soup even more refreshing.
- Pedro LouleDécembre 10, 2015Experiência muito boa.... Não é preciso sempre comer sushi cada vez que se vai a um restaurante japonês.... Este restaurante é a prova disso... Muito bom...

- Lori LuoAoût 10, 2014A variety of soba (buckwheat) noodles are served in various styles here. For first timers, the Stamino Soba or Dip Soba is a worthy first-order.
- Oz LublingMars 31, 2014A small and fairly intimate soba noodle shop and an authentic Tokyo back alley feel. The cold soba is surprisingly good. Try the Sansa.
- TristanMars 10, 2015Yo! Real talk, USA... Get the mera mera (cold). Also get the large (extra noodles) and thank me later. Top 15 dish in NYC! 🙌

- BuzzFeedAvril 11, 2014Cocoron offers “dipping soba,” where you dip cold noodles into a hot, concentrated broth. When you’re done, you get a pot of the water used for cooking, which, combined with the broth, makes a soup.

- This new location has more items than the original one on Delancey, and more space! Be sure to check out to the add ons, love the Wakame (fresh seaweed) and grated Japanese yam
- My favorites are the Mera Mera Dip Soba and the Stamina Soba. They cook their noodles perfectly and they don't come out soggy, even in the hot dishes.
- Allison YuJuin 6, 2015Love all the dip sobas - you get hot water at the end of your meal to make the sauce into a soup. Delicious and soothing

- Paula LeeDécembre 2, 2012Pork kimchee soba is ridiculously good. Get it. If you opt for dessert, steer clear of the green tea affogato. Misleadingly labeled as more than half the dessert was cornflakes..
