- Completely remodeled and stunning from the front to the rear. Beautifully designed, comfortable and elegant. The food is as terrific as always. All time favorite place to eat in DC for 25 + years.
- Daniel GandaraMai 20, 2012Ok don't listen to the Chicagoan! Texaican in da house living in Chicago and I say this is easily one of the best restaurants I've been too. Try a tamarindo margarita!
- Cynthia DouglasFévrier 15, 2014Some of the best black beans Ive ever had. The pupusas are amazing and obviously hand formed. Definitely worth the trip. And theres a full bar..
- Tracy SpetkaMars 28, 2014The best pupusas outside of El Salvador. Get pork and cheese (revuelta) and ask them to add loroco. An horchata to drink and you're set.
- Order chicken or portobello mushroom soft tacos a la carte for a less heavy and fresh meal. Chips n' Salsa is a must!
- Paul PizzellaDécembre 1, 2018Outstanding papusas. Loved the cafe de olla. Good drinks, do the mango mule. Everything made fresh and tasty.
- Francisco RuscalledaOctobre 14, 2017Very flavorful and authentic food. Enchiladas are great. So are the pupusas.
- Great for happy hour which lasts till 8pm! Burrito poblano for under $8?! Yes please.
- Lucy ReedyNovembre 5, 2012Fajitas for two is delicious with the double wrapped corn tortillas. Service when I was here was less than exemplary.
- RodDécembre 14, 2013Bottomless Mimosas =1 pitcher per person. They do not know the true dictionary version of BOTTOMLESS!!!!
- Thaís SoaresFévrier 14, 2019Delicious pupusas, but order them separately... their brunch menu version seemed smaller and the sides were only ok.
- Liz SesslerMars 24, 2011Pupusas are the best here! Ask for extra salsa and dip the pupusas and there is no better dinner after Belgian HH at L'enfant.
- Maggie MacGNovembre 22, 2015The first place I ever had pupusas and horchata and still one of my favs.
- The pickled slaw that comes with the pupusas is to die for. I would eat it in buckets if I could.
- Mike ReidAoût 22, 2012Small/intimate, good food....parking in the neighborhood sucketh....majorly, so be ready.
- Andres AlmeidaJuin 2, 2012Not authentic. Everything tastes and looks prepackaged. The hole-in-the-wall Super Taco on Columbia Rd is still #1.
- Thomas McNultyNovembre 3, 2017Food is ok here, but when comparing it to other Salvadorian places in town, then it definitely needs to do better.
- I recommend the pupusas, tamales, pollo al cilantro and salmon.
- Open 24 hours on the weekend. Great food, better service.
- Jd UyAvril 21, 2010Nice, small Mexican/Salvadorean food. Go here when Lauriol Plaza is too busy. 1/2 pitcher of margaritas only adds to the yumminess. En savoir plus
- Shawn RobinsonMars 24, 2012Yeah the margaritas original on the rocks pitcher ugh. I'm leaning like a quarter to six....lol #tipsy
- Russ PtacekJuillet 2, 2013suspended by health dept for 7 violations including raw beef stored at 68 degrees and no one trained and certified in food safety. passed reinspection. watch wusa9 for story.
- The staff here is absolutely lovely and the food is great!
- Trios Enchiladas and the Passion Fruit Margarita #youregood
- 24 hour eats! The best gauc
- Daniel MezaJuin 12, 2010Ok. Chicagoan in da house, & wow this food is bad. I ordered Tacos and they messed them up. How do you mess up tacos? The refried beans are bland, salsa is weak & the alternative is Chalula ->Fail!
