I spent all day there with my dad and 4-year-old sister and never ran out of things to do.
ESTHERMars 21, 2016Super fun. Would come back when it wasn't Spring Break or a holiday. Big downfall is there isn't a lot of places to sit and rest or people watch.

The pier is an amusement park so you pay admission even if you don't ride just like other amusement parks. However they do offer a discounted price of $10 if you don't want to ride.
Janine VJuin 24, 2012Come early to avoid the lines & heat. Free shuttle from San Luis Resort saves on parking fees for guests. Also ask hotel for VIP card to avoid line for tickets.

Kyami CroninJuin 15, 2012$10 just to walk around the pier/$22 to ride 1/2 the rides cuz the other 1/2 aren't open yet. Go to Kemah. You can walk around for free.
Jeff CeynarSeptembre 2, 2013I agree with $10 to enter because if it was free then everybody would be complaining that wait for rides is too long. Also the restaurant across the street will validate parking for first 3 hours.

Pedro HernandezJuin 25, 2013Beautiful place, but they charge $10 just for walking the pier. I think thst is too much, a few dollars would be OK- There are no shops or restaurants on the pier other than the gift shop and Bubba Gump. Admission isn't required to get to either.
