Fun Park Slope local coffee shop and roastery. Delicious, strong cold-brew on a hot summer day. Smooth and sweet, perfect mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Locally-made pastries too. Eat Local Brooklyn! En savoir plus
One of the first specialty roasters in NYC, this Park Slope, Brooklyn shop has been overshadowed by the flood of new coffee of late but will be coming back strong w/ a Gowanus roastery this year. En savoir plus
Great coffee and plenty of space to set up shop. The vibe is lively, so if you are planning to stay for a while and get some work done, you should probably bring your headphones. En savoir plus
I usually prefer small cafes, but this coffeehouse has earned it's reputation among the best in NYC. I usually grab a bag of beans to take home when I visit Gorilla Coffee.
Nice crowd of people. Got their China Long Jing Green Tea, talk about hot... Tried their apple danish; which one of their many pastry selections. It was delicious. Would definitely go back again.
N-Sider Favorite: They have beans from all over the globe to choose from, ample seating, wi-fi,and a staff that really knows what they're doing; its a café that hits all the sweet spots.
My favorite coffee in the world. My wife and I have actually considered taking it with us abroad. Been in PS 9 years and would drink no other. Take some beans home to try.
The coffee place for coffee drinkers, specially if you are visiting from Europe and are used to strong stuff. Punk music and ska, so not a real relaxed ambiance
Strong coffee with robust flavor. No extra cost for soy milk so $3.50 for a small soy latte. Cosy seating and efficient but not super friendly service. Wifi.
With the mass of people, it has the vibe of an airport waiting area, substitute CNN for loud indie rock. Strong coffee, as they all say. No outlets for laptops. Wifi pass "k!ngkong".
Gorilla gets No.1 in my book for the taste of the espresso. The apathetic, too-hip-to-serve-you vibe almost landed it in second. Almost. The coffee's that good.
Often go here to pickup beans to use at home. The Sumatran ones are particularly good. Had a latte here twice and both were awful so I stay away from those now.
