Has a self-guided audio tour with lots of in-depth info, but can be a bit long with lots of standing and staring. Great if you love local history!

Welcome to the historic 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, now the University of Tampa. There's plenty of history to explore at this beautiful building. Stop by Tues-Sat, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., or Sunday, 12–5 p.m.

I love this place! I love wondering how does it like back in time, when it was the famous Tampa Hotel. My husband and I decided to have our wedding photo shoot at the museum´s gardens and lobby! ;)

Quaint little exhibit, worthwhile but can be done completely in two hours. $2 for the guided tour is a good investment.

Step back in time at the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel. The museum is open Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, 12–5 p.m.

You gotta catch the "Upstairs/Downstairs" performances on Sundays at 2 pm. Actors portray real life hotel patrons & staff.
