Good ski slopes, more challenging than Tochal and just an hour drive north of Tehran. Hotel and surrounding facilities are rather dated. Rent a toboggan for kids outside ski area - great fun!

Beautiful gardens, one of the cleanest and best maintained places I have seen in Tehran. Great selection of birds - definitely worth a visit!
It's a long gondola ride to get to the ski slope but worth the trip. The slopes are safe and easy for beginners with chair lifts only. Best to go early as the last gondola up is at 2pm
This hotel has good bones but is really run down and shabby. Such a shame as it could easily be a grand and vibrant holiday destination.

Order the steak - it comes on a sizzling platter and looks way better than what I had. Spaghetti dishes are quite bland and rest of meals average. Great setting and atmosphere.
Lovely forrest, had fun exploring with the kids. Next time we will pack a picnic and spend the whole day there

Best time to visit is in the evening as the bridge is lit up and reflects in the water - simply magnificent!
