Nice large suite 2 and 1/2 baths.Roof top restaurant. Food very reasonable.Oysters not local said to be from NY Long Island: pricey&more important uninteresting, very small meat.Great lobster hot roll

I have fallen in love with Newport, RI - If you can afford it, the Hotel Viking is the place to stay - staff was superb, the rooms small but beautifully decorated and the location can't be beat. En savoir plus

The staff are unbelievably friendly and the food is delicious. The rooms were also nice, my only complaint is that they were cold and lacked the ability to control the temperature

The Viking is not only historic (its exterior resembles one of the Bellevue mansions), but is also located right in town--ideal for meandering home after a night spent on Thames Street. En savoir plus

This is an excellent place for gatherings, as the hotel has convention facilities and rooms that will be perfect for parties, banquets, and business gatherings.

Old building renovated with limited success. Small comfortable room, extremely tiny bathroom. No coffee, mini bar in room. Lift down was not working on our floor. Yikes. Lovely and helpful staff.

Make sure you get a room in the old section of the hotel. They're much nicer than the new section.
