Great haddock and chips. Lovely crisp batter. Open Sunday evenings too.
Sunday night is steak night. Rump steak, chips, tomato and onion rings for two and a bottle of wine for £25. Our steaks were cooked excellently. Recommended.
Beautiful trail with refreshment van part way round and benches dotted about to pause and enjoy the view. Can get busy though. Get there early for a more peaceful walk.
Great farm shop with top quality produce. Not keen on the pies though the ones I bought were very average.
I want to like Tebay farm shop and the bacon and sausages are nice enough though relatively highly priced.Lots of jams, chutneys, cheese etc.Not so keen on the pies though, look nice but very average.
All the produce is excellent here but the chicken crown stuffed with wild boar sausage is especially good!
Bar meals are very generous in size! Recommend the fish and chips in particular. I was less impressed with a curry I had once. Pretty decent pub grub really, we keep going back anyway :-)
Excellent salad boxes with a good variety of salads to choose from to add to the basics: 3 bean, potato salad, couscous, rice, pasta, coleslaw etc. etc. Have any or all!
Gets very busy at times in the summer, one of the few places on Lancaster Canal where I've seen double mooring.
My favourite Corbridge pub, nice atmosphere. The food is OK but not exceptional, frozen chips....
Great sandwiches, freshly made and generously filled. Go for the baton it's well worth that little bit more.
