- From terminal to terminal, you feel like you are at different airports. If all terminals become just like the most recently upgraded one, this is actually a nice airport with AirTrain service

- JFK is accessible via train which LGA and EWR do not. My Uber from midtown Manhattan would have been $109 but taking the E train express ($2.90) and connecting to Airtrain ($9.25) saved time & $$.

- There's a second Shake Shack further down in the international terminal that is a lot less crowded than the main one. Less important: the airport gets you other places.
- Buzzing as always. Security queues tends to be longer so keep walking and follow the instructions of the officer to get it through quickly.
- Nando TiconDécembre 12, 2014McDonalds and Starbucks are in the Terminal 1. Just get the Airtrain and in 5 minutes you'll find decent food for decent price. After check in, you'll find more food options.

- Don't be mislead by the first "American" sign you see. It's got spelling mistake, they really were trying to say "US Airways". The real AA checkin is in the back, all the way in the back.

- Jeffrey StanleyDécembre 17, 2014International terminal was wonderful but very crowded, even on a Saturday night during August. Plenty of parking but very expensive. You might as well rent a vehicle and drop-off there or hire a taxi.
- Airtrain to Jamaica and LIRR to Penn station is the way to go, $12 off peak and takes around 30 minutes to get to Manhattan
- Get TSA precheck. It’s worth the extra money if you fly more than 2 times a year.

- Nice airport. Easy access around for gates and AirTrain or buses. Clean surroundings and bathrooms. Not many options o Terminal 5 for dining.

- According to American Airlines 50 minutes before a 6am flight is WAAAAAYY to late. They make you pay more to standby till 5pm. Thank you airlines for making travel so painless and affordable! 😘

- If you see a guy named Steven Dwyer, be extra nice to him and talk to him about the good old days. If you see Gilberto Bou, tell him a good story (he loves good stories).
- For those of you traveling from airports like Baton Rouge & San Angelo where TSA & Airline Staff are pleasant, you're in for a culture shock. Everyone has an attitude. You need to be aggressive here!
- Gateway to the world.. Delta terminal 4 is recently redone, shake shack and other quality eateries, plus automated passport control stations when you get back.

- In Terminal 7, they have a good set up quick eat options. Also the Sunglasses section is fairly priced and dont offer sales often.

- TingOctobre 28, 2015Love the city but not so much this airport. Huge airport. Head onto the Airtrain to federal circle for car rental or Jamaica/ Howard beach stations for subway into the city.
- As with everything in New York, JFK is ALWAYS crowded. Take your time. at least 3 hours prior departure for international flights. and arrivals: at least 1hour in immigration.
- Terminal 5 baggage claim (basement) is open 24/7 with free wifi and 24/7 Dunkin Donuts. Planning to spend the night before an early flight? Go here! All other terminals are closed and barren.

- Ian StreverJuillet 10, 2017Very connected- the Delta terminal was state of the art, and smaller than I was expecting.
- The Delta terminal (terminal 4) is kind of awesome. Shake Shack at gate B20 and seats with outlets, what a concept!
- If you’re in terminal 8, and don’t want pizza, donuts, or a $70 steak, you’re pretty much out of options for food.

- make sure you know what terminal you have to get to before hand especially after an international flight and a switch through customs its good to scout ahead or ask around
