Lynette SJuillet 5, 2014Extremely poorly organized for arriving intl flights. Avoid flying intl thru this airport. The passengers & workers were obviously frustrated. The way it handles intl arrivals is an embarrassment.
Starr BSeptembre 4, 2010I must say I was discouraged after reading every ones "tips" but I got thru security in a matter of minutes. Check in on line so easy. Airport was stuffy and hot and the bathrooms were gross though

On Terminal 8, try the granola + light yogurt @ Europan.
If you request an @uber as you land, they usually have 1 waiting.
Terminal 8's security line is crazy long Sunday afternoons.
Rei AtirAoût 18, 2014Try avoiding it. Any other airport in the US is preferable. The immigration lines are ridiculously long.
Look up when in the delta terminal. The ceiling looks like its decaying in several places.
If you're stuck waiting for your Jetblue flight, there are great food/drink options in terminal 5.
Run out of the plane the second the door opens. Otherwise you'll be stuck in that customs line for a long time. A very, very long time.

Avoid long Taxi lines and call an UberX. They arrive in minutes, it's a sweeter ride than a smelly cab and its a $60 flat rate to Manhattan.
