Love the birthplace of Peet's coffee. Been coming here since the 1980s! There is a room in back now with the history of this great coffee roaster, including price lists from the '70s. Check it out!
A fascinating slice of Bay Area geologic history. There is a labyrinth here, nicer than the more well-known than the one north of here. Views of the Bay to the west and Mt. Diablo to the east.
Take in the 360-degree view of Mt. Diablo to the east and SF Bay and Mt. Tamalpais to the west from here, at the junction with the Conlon trail.
Best place for fun, retro toys and toys with an educational twist. Avoid the scary clown at the door!
Huarache con tinga is a mouthwatering concoction with chipotle-stewed chicken... Also a michelada to enjoy your meal with... Tamales verdes also are very delicious.
Also can't say enough about their hash and their Yemenite special at breakfast. The Trumer Pilsner pint goes well with most dishes... :)
The sandwich specials (especially nos. 1 and 3) are a nice addition to the lunch menu. Always good. Always high quality! Been a Saul's fan since they opened in the 1980s!
