The Canton surprisingly, isn’t even IN Canton, but Fell’s Point. During my last visit, they were serving cheese balls (you know, the kind from the can!). A great little dive to drink.
Known by many names, about 20 years ago it was The Dead Rabbit, even though no sign actually said that. Spirits lives up to its name serving good drinks at moderate prices.

Sometimes the name just says it all... Probably not the ideal spot for a first date, but Swallow at the Hollow definitely fits the definition of a true Balmore dive and the beer is cheap and plentiful
