    The perfect after date drink place in the lower west. Order the "Fair and Day" (off menu) - a rum based revelation haha. Or something a little sweet, try their "Dominicana."

    If you're one for martinis, order a Tuxedo No. 2, the predecessor to the traditional cocktail. Gin + Absinthe = Heaven.

    Nice location, decent ambiance. After descending the stairs, you look around expecting more but find less. The live music rescues the semi-anticlimactic experience. It's alright, but have a Plan B.

    you don't have to read the menu. just tell the hostess what you feel like having...she'll have the bartenders come up with something special.

    Don't order from the menu. Tell your server what you like and have the mixologist surprise. I suggest anything with fresh ginger. Yummmm

    Perhaps it was just the moment, but Little Branch was far-off the standards set by other NYC mixology peers. Poor service, a cocktail menu mostly of standards, and a damp room. Many better options.
