Parking and Security are fast! Always use LGB or SNA and avoid LAX whenever possible.

The new terminal is beautiful. Less people and less line up here, even on a holiday weekend things were quick. I see no point in going to LAX anymore

The new terminal is BALLIN'! Awesome, non-chain gourmet food.. I like the smell of brand new ;)

Runway 25L is closed, when approaching, they require you now to tell them the specific runway you wanna land on

Super quick security line. Quick curb to gate. Record time. Not a lot of food choices, but so well worth it.

No coffee shops except inside/past security. Just vending machine coffee. BYO!

The bathrooms are outside of the gate area in the temporary JetBlue terminal. There are also two sets of bathrooms so if you see a line, walk around the back for more restrooms.

While no Starbucks is here, there is one about a mile on Bellflower from the airport. Worth heading there as there is little food at the airport!

This is a small airport compared to LAX...very easy to get thru...weird boarding plane on the tarmack tho!!!

Awesome new terminal! Very cute airport and easy security! Baggage claim is a bit of a mess. Either way, it wins vs LAX.

Sit at the picnic tables outside the airport...they're nice and it doesn't feel like you're being cow herded!

Definitely a lot closer and quicker than LAX. Even if it was a holiday weekend, I don't think anyone will feel packed or as stuck as LAX.

Yes it's quick to pass security n cheaper to fly BUT make sure to eat - don't expect a Starbucks - theres a cafe but expensive for little choices. Wouldn't want to spend an hour here waiting!

when picking someone up, dont park in the short term but instead turn right into the private area just before the round about. the people don't check.

Make sure the person your picking up is there. The police will tell you move if you try to park.

Smallest airport I've seen. I found a nice little wifi nook next to the cooler at gate 2... It took a little while for it to solidify the connection though...

Best way to find <$100 round trip deals from San Francisco to LA is to fly JetBlue from SFO to Long Beach! Woot!
