Came at 7 on a Friday and it was pretty quiet. The salad with yellow tail is really good. They'll pour hot grape seed oil on it to sear it in front of you right before you devour it!

The Umami Menu will take you through a 2.5 hour long 9-course meal. The only thing I would go back for, though, is the Crispy Okaki Asparagus, which is on the bar menu.

This is one of those places you go for a really special occasion, as dining here is an event. Just get the Omakase – with the Sake Pairings, it’s worth the money!

Not like the old Megu but still very good. Found a lot of vegetarian friendly dishes and the vibe was great!

Kobe filet mignon is the way to go. Split a 6 oz. with your lady. She'll thank you. So will your stomach.

One of the best tasting menus in the city. Can't go wrong with the crispy asparagus, oriental salad or sliced kobe beef.Their green tea crepe is outstanding.

I love this place so much! It's opulent, decadent, dramatic, sexy and theatrical all at the same time! From a sizzling salad to beef with flaming hennessy, the food at MEGU conquers all others! Enj

Try the MEGU Signature Kobe Beef Slices “Ishiyaki” (that means grilled on a river stone) which arrives at the table still on the stone, good and spectacular

If you come to Megu, you must try the Kobe Beef "Kagero" Style. Even if you are not a beef lover this dish will change your mind. The flavor is very simple: pure butter. Cooked table side for you.

Try the tasting menu. Kobe beef is exceptionally delicious and melts in your mouth. Sake tasting menu is good as well.

Order the Blessing Cocktail. Megu means “blessing” in Japanese. There's a huge ice sculpture of Buddha downstairs. Make sure you pour rose petals & water onto him with the wooden ladle & make a wish.

Very cool place. Crispy shrimp and edamame as an appetizer. Sushi and kobe beef for dinner, and cheese cake and creme brulée for dessert. :)

Megu leaves trash attracting rats every evening, and the slimey, smelly residue every morning. Deelish!

Did the tasting menu, cool presentation but the poor service, mediocre food, and a huge tab remind me once again don't buy into the hip hype.

Never come here, stuff is a hoax and costs a lot of money. If you want American Japanese fusion for a high price please come here. If you want quality Japanese, go to Nobu which is also nearby.
