Avoid the coleslaw - full of rye seeds. Get the chopped liver, it has a hint of sweetness and comes with a nice vegetable medley

The smoked meat sandwich is the signature item, but try the burger with smoked meat if you're feeling like you want something different

Mmm the hot dog here is better than Crif! Order the potato salad as your side mmm! Very friendly staff too! And they serve Stumptown coffee!

Smoked Meat Burger was good but there was too much on it too distinguish any one taste. I would do away with the fried egg. But their poutine was great.

Best chicken salad sandwich ever. It's got juicy plump chicken bits, pickled cucumber and peppers and gribenes on schmaltzed challah, y'all.

fyi they've recently turned this location into a sit-down, waiter-service location. you can still order takeout at the register however.

Get the Brussels sprout salad and never view any salad the same. Also, dude vs ladies patrons were at least 6:1, but what would you expect at "meat" shop. 
