The American Wing is amazing. Plan to spend 3 hours here at minimum. 2020 is their 150th year and have many special events. Check with them on that. Great place. Their modern and contemporary collection isn’t that comprehensive, and some of the exhibitions aren’t exactly “fine art” at all.
