Great cocktails, but if you show up without a reservation they'll seat you on the stairs of shame. They usually find you a table after about 15 mins in my experience, provided its not too busy.

A little brunch gem nestled in a residential area. Apparently a favoured place of ladies who lunch. They do a delicious take on an eggs benedict with tarragon & mustard holendaise and Parma ham!
Wonderfully quirky cinema. Lovely comfy seats and VIP sofas. For the best rum hot chocolate you've ever had order at the bar, partake in the free snacks then have your drink delivered to your seat!
Lovely cakes, proper apple strudel. The food is good and authentic Austrian. If you are tall be careful you don't hit your head on the lamps when you stand up. Free wifi.

This is the quirky heart of Islington. Feels very like the north laine in Brighton. Go on Saturday for the antiques market and shops, go round the hidden antiques court. Sunday has the food market.

Pub that's open late (at least 1 am), great selection of cask-conditioned ales and wines, live music most nights, a small theatre in the back, free wireless, comfy chairs, and superb ambiance.
Excellent food and service. Mediterranean brunch is particularly fine, scrambled eggs with feta cheese mixed in, also lamb sausages and delicious hot buttered Turkish bread, like a Turkish fry-up.
Fantastic cocktails, one of the barmen is renowned for his Piña colada's so make sure you get one during happy hour. The Cuban food includes fantastic slow cooked meats with rice and root veg.

A little Islington gem, amazing food funky soviet artifacts, fab wine list. We had the Bellinis, Cheese bread, chicken & wallnut and trout. All great but Bellinis stand out! As does the Mukuzani wine!

Quite good Eggs Benedict, lovely atmosphere and also has outdoor seating. Tasty Italian pastries. Also a lot easier to get in on a weekend than the places near Camden Passage.
