There's a secret room behind a fake wall on the 1st floor where you can see the original building exterior from before the expansion. It's also where they keep people who go looking for this room.
The New Orleans Museum of art includes a magnificent sculpture garden that should not be missed. The Museum is closed on Mondays, but the garden is open seven days a week and is complimentary!
NOMA resides in the middle of CityPark with easy access for an afternoon of fun. Bike, kayak, or scooter around the park, explore the museum, and be sure not to miss the outdoor sculpture garden.

The small POP artexhibit on the second floor was a pleasant surprise. The Scuplture Garden is one of my favorite places in the city...its closed for maintenance until spring, though.
