The bartenders are great, and so are the drinks. Collect all the tiki mugs if you can: its a great excuse to try every drink they make. Good music too! And did i mention the great bartenders?

The OG of NYC tiki bars. Order whatever looks good, you can't go wrong. Bonus points for getting to take the mug home with you (if you want).

I freakin love this bar. The cocktails are fun. The atmosphere is odd & entertaining. I bring all NYC visitors here that want a uniquely New York experience.

If you like dark & stormy's, try their version: the stormy skull! Little plastic monkeys that are added hanging off the side of your glass are a plus!

Laid back tiki bar with a punk rock/rockabilly/psychobilly crowd. They have a huge back room that they show movies in and give out free popcorn. Photobooth op too.

Tiki mugs are great for coffee, too, just sayin' (especially the Yorick-esque skull one). Steal 'em from the bar and take 'em home with you! Oh, and look out for the tattooed "Rebel of Wall Street."

Don’t leave this bar without ordering The Slice of Heaven. Only available for a half hour starting every Saturday night around 2:30 a.m., deep friend bacon and a shot of your choice. Nuff said, right?

Cash only. Otto's Octane is tasty and the bartender has a heavy hand. The place reminds me a lot of Bourbon st. in New Orleans

Cool spot if you are local or passing through. The best times to go are on Thursday for Move Your Mule ska night or once a month of Fridays they have their rockabilly themed night.

They have one of the few remaining old-school photobooths in the city. It's expensive, though -- $5!

Shrunken Head and Mai Tai. The Pina Colada tasted way too processed. Would stay away from frozen stuff and stick with their signature drinks.
