A hidden gem. Best sunset I've ever seen. Go a little before sunset and set up a blanket and snap a few pictures. Trek around in the sand. Great for flying a kite, too.
Incredible wildlife, amazing views and a quality beach. Even a snack bar on the North Beach! Divided into federal and state parks that preserve the ponies & gorgeously innate wildlife.
Great beach for dog owners & lovers alike. Every evening after 5:30 you will find plenty of dogs, their owners, and friendly folks all over the beach. Avoid if that does not appeal to you.
Weekend parking is $13 for in-state residents and $22 for out of state. Students, remember to bring your ID and proof of residency just in case!
