Museum was very cool, but very crowded. LOTS OF CHILDREN, not really a museum for adults without kids. Lines were long, and it was difficult to read with people bumping and standing around.

Make sure you head up to the 4th floor and you/your kids to use the interactive bird simulation (free).

This museum is packed with cool stuff, like this fossil from about 120 million years ago. How cool is that?! Also, they have great collections at the Eye of the Collector exhibition. Don't miss it!

If you've got kids, just save yourself the money and buy a membership. An interested 8 yr old can only take in one floor at a time before intellectual overload. Multiple visits required.

If your kids can't read yet, move quickly through the top 2-3 floors so you can spend more time with the hands-on stuff.

Perhaps it was due to extended hours, there were a number of malfunctioning and broken interactions. As an adult, you will comprehend minds and ways of how destructive children can be at this place.
