Great little pub in which to start your evening on the ale. Not a lot of room but cosy atmosphere in the middle of town
Used to be my local when I lived in Lancaster. Good food and drink options after a quick walk. Great for a beer with outdoor seating in the summer. Wonder what ever happened to Nigel the landlord?
Great views of the castle - spent a few all day sessions here. Full of character inside - used to be s good pub quiz too
Expensive and not the kind of place you could afford to stay all night but worth popping in for a specialty ale (home and imported options)

Nightclub packed with Uni Students. Seen some good gigs in here over the years, not least Idlewild at their peak - great show. More your vile drinks, watery lager and sticky floor type venue
Another great branch of Booths - great selection of local ales and IPAs etc. Sometimes there's a deal on for multiple purchases.
Not bad value for money for swimming. Pick your times and day carefully as some lanes blocked off for classes and activities

Cracking views across Lancashire. The main mast structure is 309.48 metres (1,015.4 ft) tall and has a diameter of 2.75 metres (9.0 ft). Without this you wouldn't have been able to watch Corrie
Avoid the man in glasses in the ticket booth (he looks like Penfold off Danger Mouse) - miserable git!
The College to join if you are into sports. One of the last accommodation blocks to get redeveloped - old rooms were like damp prison cells
Excellent library - always quiet. Get your course books booked out way in advance... They soon disappear when you're trying to write an essay
Worth a visit - guided tour recommended to get the best experience and historical background. Pop to The Merchants for a pint after
Former home of Shite Disco in the 90's always ending on the theme tune to Neighbours. Quality. Always had a good jukebox too
One of the better fish and chip shops in Lancaster - Shame it's not a little bit more in the city
Cracking pub with a fantastic selection of music on the jukebox. Great place to spend the night with a large group of mates
Traditional/old fashioned home decor and furnishings shop - can find the occasional bargain. Gets way too busy at weekends and no chance of getting a parking space outside the shop
Expensive but very good ribeye steak. Service was ok - very nice inside and good views out. Ask for a booth. No idea why everything comes with half a lettuce - waste of time!
Cheap booze. Not a bad venue. Sometimes there's a decent live gig on but crowds can be sparse. Decent student nights on a sticky floor :0)
