I like this restaurant because I try to eat only real food, and I like to eat it daily. RFD is a staple for any vegan foodie in L.A.
Café Gratitude has great vegan food. You can have the "I am Grateful," the "I am Extraordinary," or the "will.i.am." They don't have that last one. But if they did it'd be a bowl of black eyed peas.
A whole section of dairy free vegan sorbet! The chocolate is delicious. Definitely impressed!
Spoon's is NOT the usual mock meat fare (read: over-processed and artificial). Made fresh locally and flavoured with herbs, the food is both wholesome and tasty :)
No dairy. No egg. Lactose free. Cochineal free. Gelatin free. That includes coffees - soy or rice or almond milk only
Go for the tempura zucchini flower taco with miso mayo and red radish. It's on the specials board sometimes.
