First time & immediately impressed! Very friendly employee - didn't rush us in ordering & explained delish foods. Perfect cappuccino & chai tea latte. Stoked on my lox & bagel served Sat & Sun only :)

Though it can be very crowded at times, it still provides the space for intimate conversations. Eclectic yet comfortable, Portfolio is becoming my "must go" place for the better moments in my life.

I have there azai berry viscous tea and those were really good. I also had their cheese bar, which is like a cheesecake, which was really delicious as well. The service here was decently friendly.

It can be hard to find a seat, but I like coming to this coffee shop when I'm in the area. Hot and iced drinks are both great here, and sometimes they have live music.

The redeye is the way to go whether iced or hot. Friendly staff. Not sure about the baked products, I've seen some stuff that stayed there for a couple of days. Just saying 💁🏻 great coffee though

Plugs near the small table on the left and by the large couch. Plenty of outlets also at the back of the coffee shop. Free Wi-Fi for 4 hours when you order a drink. Password on the receipt. En savoir plus

Fri/Sat nights would be even better here if they stayed open past 10pm, say Midnight. I remember when they used to be open until 2am! Still a great hangout!

Great service, chill atmosphere, outside smoking, eclectic crowd! I've been a regular here for years and it's a definite favorite spot of mine!

Recover after hitting the 4th street thrift shops with a passable Illy coffee and some comfy armchairs. Looks like a chill spot to study on weekdays too.

Great, fast service. Fun, spacious seating areas. Delicious iced coffee. I look forward to exploring more of the menu here!

New interior design is interesting. More like cold Clockwork Orange than warm Twin Peaks. I miss the old furniture. Still same locals. Great iced mocha.

The matcha latte with macadamia nut milk tasted terrible... Their matcha powder didn't have any flavor, and they didn't mix it well so I got a chunk of powder on the bottom of the cup...

Must come before 5pm if you haven't eaten and need food before buckling down for a work/study session. Kitchen closes at 5pm. Learned the hard way.

Favorite coffee house in Long Beach. Great interior, cozy, excellent coffee, & great sandwiches. I could waste an entire day in here with no guilt. ;)

Good enough to stop by if you're in a mad rush and can't go anywhere else. If you're a serious coffee drinker (like me) I suggest you skip.

You'll need to buy something to obtain a code for the time limited wifi. Great place to study or relax.

I love the lox bagel. Lox, herbed cream cheese, chives, and capers. Very generous portions of lox too!

Great place to study, enjoy wifi, mingle with people, many of them repeaters, relax and enjoy good music... Not stuffy like Starbucks...
