Did you know this biergarten is the oldest in Berlin? Have a beer and enjoy the warm summer nights here. Paulaner weissbier is the best. Prost!

The restaurant is very popular among the locals and there is a great atmosphere, especially between April and September when the wonderful garden is open with its large tables that everyone shares.

Huge, awesome beer garden in Prenzlauer Berg. Drink the house pils, eat a bratwurst, and pretzel with beer cheese.

Apparently the oldest and largest Biergarten in the city. Make sure to try their own beer (the Pils and Schwarz are brewed for them by Schultheiss) with a Brezel.

Weiner schnitzel and goat cheese salad was incredible. Shared between two and very full. Some of the staff are a bit rude but overall good experience and would eat here again.

Not a very big collection of bears in the menu (the Prater Pils is quite okay) and at warm days it can be very crowded. Still love the happy and cozy atmosphere of Berlin people enjoying the sun.

Great vibe, service and food. Ordered the duck and ham hock - really tasty but very large portions. It got crowded around 8 or so (I visited during the winter though)

It's definitely a must do during summer time in Berlin. It serves standard German food and has a very big garden to sit in which doesn't make it feel crowded even when there are a lot of people

The oldest and most famous beer garden in Berlin. Great beer and delicious true-school german beer dishes: wurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, so on. Must go.

Great place to spend a sunny afternoon with friends. Food offerings however are minimal and by no means anywhere near a traditional Bavarian beer garden.

Das dunkle Praterbier ist der Hammer, auch die Krakauer und die Thüringer Rostbratwurst schmecken ausgezeichnet. Das zwanglose Beieinandersitzen unter alten Bäumen ist unvergleichlich.

Nice atmosphere. I only had coffee (I am not much of a beer lover) but my group thought the beer was great. Hardly any vegan options, but it's not as if I was expecting to find that at a Biergarten.

If you are looking for a VERY traditional German Biergarten and restaurant you should definitely visit. The menu comes with a twist, the decoration is traditional af.

Great atmosphere, energizing crowd and cold beer! One can quickly feel at home here! Needless to say, the famous local currywurst is a necessary companion of the beer!

Dining amongst the locals. Big portions, so sharing is in order. We had the best Weiner schnitzel, meatballs and some apfelstrüdel. Didn't empty our plates.

Bring the kids: There's a small sandbox / playground to let your little ones run wild. It's not licence to get hammered, but let's face it - they do drive you to drinking sometimes.
