Great place to purchase excellent seafood to cook at home! Also their menu has freshest seafood in Austin while keeping the recipes simple focusing on fish. They will fly in fish per request!

Freshest Gulf oysters with horseradish, salt and lemon juice. Their deep-fried cod is excellent. Okra and fries sides are awesome.

Sit at the bar to avoid ordering at the window. Slim wine selection but plenty of local beers. Oysters are tasty and fresh. Fried foods aren't as good though. Still a neat spot overall.

Mahi tacos are great! Taco Tuesday is the the best of their weekly specials with $3.00 tacos and $2.00 all domestic drafts.

WiFi password is gofish Bummed they don’t do steamed clams or whole belly fried clams anymore but Blackened Drum was delicious.

Raw gulf oysters, fried scallops, fried oysters, fried catfish & the Mac & cheese was delicious.

Fried shrimp basket - quite good. Turned off big time - some of the cooks behind the Oysters Bar kept eating when we sat down & still eating after we paid our bill. Unprofessional & very nasty!

Two dollar Tuesdays, can't beat it with $2 beer and $2 tacos. I like the blackened mahi and a corona.

There's an awesome "Life Aquatic"-esque mural on the wall furthest from the dining area in a corner. Go check out this place for the art alone- I want that painting!!
