A solid drive-in burger. Hand formed, a little peppery, thin. Perfect bun that's touched the grill and dabbed with butter. Best finished off with a key lime rickey.
I haven't been back to LA in several years and a week doesn't go by that I don't think, "I'd love an In-N-Out Burger right now."

A grade-A LA burgers. You get the sense that all burgers were like this pre-1950. Jonny Rocket's tries to channel the Apple Pan but manages to get it all wrong, because, well, The Apple Pan is real.
