end your night at perhaps the best americana bar i've ever been to. all whiskey all the time, and awesome bluegrass jams on saturday nights in the back room.

Great late night spot. Live music in the front, nice outdoor space in the back. And don't get caught peeing out front.

Always a great crowd and great music. Indispensable to Red Hook. Go here and leave the city behind, even if you can step out and see Manhattan from the front door.

Stepping into Sunny’s is akin to taking a time machine to a time when shipyard workers came in after their shifts. Basically it’s your dream dive. Cash only.

Go on Saturdays for the Bluegrass Jam! It's starts at 9pm & gets crowed, so go early for a seat.

Established in 1890, continuously family owned & operated. Previously named for the owner's great-grandfather, John. At quiet times, the back room feels like you're drinking in a museum.

This place is low-key, authentic and seemingly unchanged by time. Think nautical, but more long-shoreman than stripes and boat shoes.

Get a beer or a Manhattan, sit by the windows and enjoy the music. If it's a nice day, squeeze into the cozy internal backyard and if there's live music, run to the back and enjoy it!!
