- Phoenix New TimesAoût 13, 2014The über-stylish Roka Akor, a spin-off of London-based Roka, sets itself apart from the Valley's myriad other Japanese restaurants by specializing in robatayaki, Japanese-style grilled dishes. En savoir plus
- Jon JacobsonJanvier 12, 2015Ok, of the three: prime rib kimchi dumpling 1, black cod 2, butterfish 3. All great but I want more of #1. Gotta have the shochu! If in chicago go to roka akor on north clark! Best sushi in Chicago!
- Francisca SanJuin 9, 2014Nice ambience and setting! Sat by the bar and Victoria chose most of my diner of the night! Wild mushroom hot pot in unexpected presentation! Butter cod is perfection
- Have the omakase chef's tasting menu, it takes 3 hours to eat at 22 items. Have the chef deep fry the fish skeleton that garnishes your sashimi garden, it's an experience you must have!!!
- Love this place for its summer bar menu, great food and good deals. But what is up with.. No cell reception and the slowest wifi in any 3rd world country! WTF!!!!! Wake up!
- Brian PanksOctobre 9, 2011ORDER THE OMAKASE!! A many-course "experience". Many places do Omakase as "artsy minimalist", but Roka does a very filling & creative meal. Take a chance and live a little! Trust me, it's worth it!
- Chris HFévrier 10, 2014Sushi for white people. Id skip the sushi omakase and go for the tasting menu for two which had great hot items like a whole crispy fried fish and chawanmushi
- Meg ChiavarasMars 11, 2015My top 3: Prime rib kimchi dumplings, crispy Brussel sprouts, and cremini mushrooms. Flowers, "Perennial" 2011 Pinot blend is excellent! Also loving the Aladdin sake!
- Rob HolderAoût 8, 2014Everything is delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Love the happy hour and $1 oyster nights too!
- Rheana TechapinyawatNovembre 7, 2011The Shochu Lounge has great food & drink specials. Ask for Victoria (bartender), she's the best! Hands down my fave sushi in AZ and they have the freshest fish! Get the butterfish tataki
- Oldies but goodies. Still roka-ing some of the best Japanese food in Scottsdale.
- George GalvanJuillet 30, 2011Happy Hour is all evening. Appetizers from $2.00 to about $6.00 and drink specials. You can end up spending either $40.00 for 2 people or $100.00 - I have done both but had an amazing time each time a
- Alice FerrisAoût 21, 2013Try the Butterfish Tataki With White Asparagus And Yuzu - Catching up on some Foodspotting. This is my favorite thing at Roka.
- David LounsburyFévrier 1, 2019Tasty food, but service is…bizarre. Components of the meal came randomly, with one diner getting his entree after everyone else was finished. Vegetable sides were delivered between entree and dessert.
- Probably the best restaurant ever! If you are willing to break the bank the omakase tasting is unreal. You won't find anything you won't like.
- Alice FerrisAoût 21, 2013Try the Fried Calamari - These were amazing, and a HUGE serving. My son and I shared some with the table next to us.
- Alice FerrisAoût 21, 2013Try the Shishito Peppers - Love the way the bonito flakes move from the temperature of the peppers.
- Todd ArvisoAoût 13, 2013Must try... Best happy hour in az. Wagyu Hot Dog, soft shell crab burger, and Brussels sprouts!
- Dianne FresquezJuin 3, 2012When the chef found out that I was sensitive to lemon, he redesigned the dish for me on the spot and it was divine!
- Alice FerrisAoût 21, 2013Try the Brussel sprouts - Also with bonito flakes. These were the hit of the night.
- BeerNerdMars 4, 2012Food is good, there are gnats flying around table, and we saw a girl running from a garbage can screaming when we pulled in the parking lot $&?@ get your shot together guys!!
- The "Chibi burger" sliders in the lounge is hands down the best burger I've ever eaten.
- Nicki EscuderoAoût 13, 2012If you're vegetarian, go with a suggestion from the server. Don't custom-order avocado rolls, because they'll fall apart easily.
- Troy ClaunchMars 24, 2012Just had the omakase chefs dinner... They kept bringing food till we said enough! Delicious!
- Alice FerrisFévrier 25, 2012Try the Butterfish Tataki With White Asparagus And Yuzu - My favorite here
- MC NoybzwNovembre 25, 2015This place tries too hard and is way over priced for what it offered. For three people one alcoholic drink, two soft drinks, 3 appetizers, two regular mains (no Kobe or wayu beef ) 1 dessert. Paid 180
- You have to try the corn tempura and Serrano chili roll. To die for
- Ashley 🌵Novembre 20, 2015If you don't like eating with chopsticks, don't come here. Food was fabulous.
- Alice FerrisFévrier 25, 2012Try the Mango Chile Shochu - Looks like Orange crush, but much more lethal.
- Try the Green Tea Custard desert -- absolutely amazing and dairy-free!
- The flame-seared salmon here is my favorite thing, food or otherwise, that ever existed.
- Check out their happy hour it's awesome! 5-7pm daily
- Jim AndersonFévrier 25, 2012Try the Dirty Chopin Martini - Sitting next to Jennifer Tilly's voice double.
- Happy Hour is until closing in the Lounge until August 31st, 2013.
- Happy hour 4:30-7 everyday in the bar and lounge!
- Ask for Leilani in the lounge or sit @ the Robata grill counter.
