Walk the boardwalk to where the boats set sail for Catalina, there you'll find tons of pelicans along with a few seals here n' there.
Enjoy the sea, even if you feel you have stayed too long, stay a half an hour more. It's nice, boat watching. Don't forget to bring a jacket, it can be chilly!
