- Mitchell WulfmanJuillet 2, 2017Massive beautiful library. Courtyard with a cafe and a few shops, large study areas with a view on each floor. Treat yourself, take the elevator to the roof and walk down the curving steps.
- CNNAvril 13, 2015Designed by Moshe Safdie, the library opened in 2003. A six-story curving wall hugs a central daylgiht-filled plaza, and a rooftop garden offers sweeping views of the Utah's Salt Lake Valley. En savoir plus
- Ali HoughtonDécembre 2, 2017So many books 😍 my favorite library, study spot, and reading nook! Good tea at the cafe. Love the views from all the beautiful grand windows that surround the whole library 😊
- Zach ZundelAoût 18, 2011Here's my tip: the fourth floor balcony (It's across from the library proper, you go to the fourth floor and cross a sky bridge, but it's inside the building) is a great place to read. It's very quiet
- KaitlinSeptembre 19, 2016Easily one of the most beautiful and innovative libraries in the country. Don't miss the gorgeous architecture or lovely shops in Library Square!
- Jessica S.Août 2, 2012Grab a coffee from first floor and head to to the rooftop to read. If you have the kids with you, enjoy the Childrens library. Great people watching, and yes some are homeless.
- Christopher CaryJuin 29, 2015Great architectural moment and perfect if distant people-chatter is conducive to your studying. That said—it's a little homeless-heavy.
- William SteinbachJuillet 9, 2016The view from the roof of the library was awesome. I didn't look at the books, but there is A LOT, at least for someone like me. Homeless were inside using PC and reading, but they can use it too.
- Awesome library. Hobos have seriously infested this place though. Bathrooms, computers, and I think one lives in the phone booth.
- Why don't you have a library card? Did you know, that in addition to books, you may also checkout movies, music and art? They even have a wide selection to download.
- Amber OrensteinMai 24, 2019Wow, never seen a library with Graphic Novel, Comics, and Zines sections!

- cliff lyonJuin 2, 2010Gorgeous architecture and well-planned mixed use reminiscent of the Milan Galleria and Piazza Il Duomo where people go to be seen and people watch. Surrounded by green open space. En savoir plus
- DavidOctobre 24, 2009I know, a library right? Well this one is AMAZING and deserves a visit. Perhaps the "sexiest" building in SLC or anywhere for that matter. Big bonus: Buy a coffee and something to nosh on from Salt La En savoir plus
- Gabe JensenFévrier 15, 2014Super cool library. However, it has literally the creepiest, most disgusting bathrooms I've ever encountered in my life. I've been to a rest stop in Wyoming with cleaner bathrooms.
- haveAwonderful...Septembre 30, 2011Is there anything better than a sexy geek?! I say "No!" If you agree then, the SLCPL is the best place to go and find one. On any given day, you're going to see some eye candy. Best Days: Sat & Sun
- Jesse CrawfordOctobre 20, 2011Architecture rocks. Upper floors are rad. Grab a coffee and enjoy at least an hour here.
- Kimo WatanabeAvril 21, 2010One of the best libraries in the states. Interesting architecture, plenty of great spots to read, work, and converse.
- Take the elevator to the 5th floor and enjoy the spectacular view from the rooftop garden
- You dont need to have a library card if all you want to do is forget your meds and shout at random passersby while reeking of urine and BO.
- Adam AudenMai 29, 2011Come take a look at this amazing building. Visit the roof garden if it's open.
- The views from the rooftop are the best in the city. Bring a camera.

- Nice place. If you don't mind B.O. And cigarette smoke
- Stay off of the 2nd level. That is the young adult section and it is a little weird.
