Just stayed for a night, but this is a great example of a mid-price heritage hotel that offers a lot of value: spacious rooms, period detail, plentiful common areas, and loads of character
Lovely design, attentive staff, nice pool, very comfy beds. Like most places in Kerala, no alcohol.
Good place to grab coffee to go. Also got tasty sandwiches as takeout for lunch on backwater canoe trip (booked with Stablet Wilson tours right up the block)
The berry pulao is a signature dish and rightly so, but if you’re feeling indulgent the bacon vada pav is not to be missed.
Open late (after 22:00), which seems to be a rarity in Oslo. Quite good for a vegetarian post-bar snack, and decently spicy if you ask for it
