Bring a picnic. The prices here are crazy. Also: they've ruined it by bolting the kids' play area onto the farm - thus forcing you to pay to get in. There's a separate price on *everything*. Meh.
Pre-Raphaelites collection is really good & Birmingham School of Art section is fun. Ask 4 current temporary exhibitions: I was surprised with art from the Government Collection normally inaccessible.
Bombed in the II World War, this cathedral is visually amazing. The bomb exploded on the roof did not damage the walls but made them expand outwards. Must see place!
You really are spoilt for choice in The Shambles - did you know it was voted Britain's Most Picturesque Street 2010 by Google Street View? Have Fun!
